Annaliese is one year old already!! The past year has gone by fast, and it seems like I can barely remember her being a tiny baby.
Here were her stats at the pediatrician on Thursday:
height: 30 inches (71st percentile)
weight: 23.1 lbs (77th percentile) - although Aaron and I are pretty sure she's actually more like 24 lbs, she was dehydrated on the day of her appointment
head: 18.31 inches (84th percentile)
Annaliese just started walking over the past week or so- she is still kind of trying to get her balance but she is doing pretty well. We've got a few videos of her walking (see below).
As for words, Annaliese is talking quite a bit and likes to point to things around the house. She loves to play in the cupboards with the tupperware, pots and pans, etc, and also with the remote controls. She likes to take things off of shelves and put them on the floor (makes for a messy and cluttered house!) She loves it when we hold her and walk around the house showing her different things. She loves to climb to the top of the stairs. She also loves spinning in the office chair! She really likes bubbles and being outside. She gets quite bored when she's in the stroller. She does pretty well in the car seat but again, gets bored pretty quickly sometimes. As for foods, she likes almost any kind of fruit, broccoli, pizza, crackers with peanut butter, lasagna, and lots of other things, but she sometimes refuses to try new foods. She eats a lot!
