Annaliese- 9 months old and crawling!

On Monday Feb. 7th at her 9 month visit to the pediatrician, Annaliese was 29 inches long (86th percentile), 21 lbs 10.7 oz (87th percentile) and head circumference was 46 cm (92nd percentile). So she is growing pretty consistently since she's been born- has always stayed between 85th and 95th percentiles. She is out of her infant seat and in a convertible seat facing backward. She loves to climb on everything. She can make the following consonant sounds: D, M, B, P, T, N, and she has learned to scream (I mean scream for fun, not like crying really loud, she already knew how to do that ;)).

Also, Annaliese just started crawling recently! She had been "crawling" for 2 months now like an inchworm on her belly, but over the past couple weeks she's finally getting her belly up off the ground! Last week she was wearing only her diaper, and didn't want to put her belly on the ground (carpet burn) so she got up off her belly and started trying to crawl around. Aaron had to take her shirt off in order to get her to practice it again... ha ha! See video....

  1. Wow, she's getting so old. Next it will be crawling! That's hilarious about having to take her shirt off. If you do it too much she'll turn into one of my boy running around in their underwear all day!

  2. Sssweet!!!! I think Renee meant next will be "walking." I just love the crawling stage. I was happy my kids were all late walkers.
