Annaliese doesn't want to eat solid foods lately. I'm not sure why- I know it's not because she doesn't like the taste. Probably just getting used to new textures and a new thing... but I wish she would eat a little bit more. She takes a few bites (I feed her with the spoon) and then gets distracted and/or won't open her mouth anymore. I try to make it fun, make her smile, sing, dance, etc. I have tried rice cereal, fruit, and veggies, and fruit mixed in with rice. Today she ate about 10 bites each for breakfast and dinner which was definitely an improvement compared to the past week or two!
Lately, this is what Annaliese does quite a bit: I put her on the floor, sitting up. A minute or two later, I find that she has gone straight forward onto her belly trying to crawl to get a toy or something. Then, since she can't crawl anywhere, she instead rolls over on to her back, and then yells for me to pick her up because she wants to get up again. Repeat, repeat. She really likes peek-a-boo lately. She's pretty ticklish too.
I have been really bad about taking pictures lately. I'll have to get my camera out tomorrow :)
